I thought I would tackle the subject of travelling in style. Obviously the days when I could sit back, chill  and catch up on magazines have gone now I  have the kids with me, but I still want to look stylish when on a flight. I would say you need to choose your comfiest jeans or leggings, stripes or plain tees which can be layered and then add a smart jacket or blazer. This is how I always like to travel. Choose shoes without laces so you can easily slip them on and off when required and an across the body bag for your phone, money and passport, this can then be put in your carry on when getting on the plane. For my carry on I always choose a large tote that can be used as a beach or nappy bag afterwards. If it’s a long haul flight I would wear a scarf that can double up as a blanket for the little ones if it gets a little cold in the air. Shoe wise, as well as the above, I also love these espadrilles, and these sandals (which also come in this colour).

J Crew Stripe Tee now £38

This would be a perfect top to travel in (and it is now half price). Stripes are always chic and always classy. This one is gorgeous from Boden (again in the sale).

Warehouse Shirt now £20

A shirt would be stylish and comfy and could also be used as a cover up once on holiday, roll the sleeves up and have either open or closed on the beach.

I nearly always travel in jeans, that way if we get some unexpected colder or wet weather I have them with me.
