The new season clothes have started to filter into the shops and I am actually quite happy about this. I am in love with all the new styles and am excited to inject some colour back into the kids wardrobes. These are just a few items that have gotten me in the mood for Spring.
We have had a bit of a clear out in Bobby’s bedroom over the last couple of days and quite a lot of his clothes were way too small, hence why my 1st child’s sale post is for the boys! I have had to place quite a few orders. This, I think, is just a start on sales for them as I only got through 4 shops! My tips for sales buying would be to buy more expensive pieces whilst they are reduced and to buy bigger sizes (especially in coats and shoes) so you can stash them for next year.
I was lucky enough to attend the Monsoon Press Day on Wednesday in London and I loved every minute of it. Seriously, it was fabulous. By far my favourite outfit of the day was this pyjama suit! Whinnie Williams was DJing wearing this get up and I instantly fell in love. It was SO cool. I had seen all the pyjama trends but thought they were not for me, but she looked so good she definately changed my opinion, here she is in action. If you wanted to make it more dressy you could change the boots for some beautiful heels. I also saw this beautiful jumpsuit being modelled and this pyjama outfit is stunning.
At first glance I wasn’t sure about this collection, but I looked and I looked again and then I fell a little bit in love with quite a lot of it. The more I looked, the more I thought they were all quite wearable in an every day situation, which is how I judge most of what I buy. Below are my favourite pieces. Some of which I have ordered.
Another day, another fabulous collection and another one that my children are too big for! This one is at River Island, which is not somewhere I usually shop for the kids, but these pieces are beautiful.
Born into bonafide fashion royalty, we’re super excited to launch our new kidswear collection with mummy muse and style icon, Julia Restoin Roitfeld. Created for 0-5 year-olds, the collaboration features 30 utterly adorable pieces including denim, outerwear and accessories, too!
The collection is very retro. Julia states that she wanted a collection based on how she was dressed when she was young. Think American vintage with French chic. Some of the range is unisex, which is something again I always like, as I have quite often passed Daisy’s items down to Bobby.
I thought it was about time I dedicated a post to my permanent shops. They have been on the blog for quite a while now but I haven’t gotten round to telling you about them. Some of you may have had a good look around the site and already found them, but for those who haven’t their is a link at the top of the page that states each shop and if you click on it it will take you to all items within that particular shop. There is a Girls Shop, Boys Shop, Ladies Shop, Baby Shop and even a Maternity shop. Above and below are a small selection of what is included.
Marks and Spencer’s have their fabulous 20% off event on again (code OCT16A16) and so I feel it is my duty to point you in the direction of some of their loveliness. Above and below are some of my favourites. The shoes this season are on form as are the coats. Go forth and shop.
I’ve gone a little boot crazy today on the blog, but I wanted to give you an edit of what I think are the best ones on the high street. There are so many beautiful ones around this season, biker, statement, metallic, that I thought I would try and narrow your options down for you.
