Oh we do so love Halloween at our house, and it is taken very seriously. The kids love to come up with a theme and then we (I) get carried away. Bobby has these pyjamas and they cause him no end of fun, going into the light and then going into the dark in our cloak room to watch them glow! I have become very wary of the ‘dress up’ clothes that are sold, with all the safety issues around them, so try as best I as I can to put them together from items I love in store and which I know they will wear again. I love these pyjamas from Gap and these and these bright pink ones. This all in one is cool as is this dress from Next and these halloween bags from NOTH. Meri Meri do a fabulous range for halloween and I love this MERI MERI Copper Glitter “Happy Halloween” Garland these Pack of 6 Halloween Party Hanging Ghosts Decorations and these MERI MERI HALLOWEEN 2016 Creepy Character Balloon Kit – Witch, Skull, Ghost, Cat. Toni and Guy Style Fix Curler £24.99

I wanted to talk to you about these magnificent little curlers. They are handbag size, so I was a little dubious as to how good they would actually be! Well they are amazing, seriously, just as good, if not better, than my full size version. I used them for the 1st time on Saturday when I was going out and was very happy with the results.

ASOS Dress now £44

Like I said they are travel size so will be perfect for packing for my holidays. They also have straightners and a waver version and these are just as fabulous. I trialled the wavers on Daisy!

Definitely worth a purchase if you are wanting to invest.

Beauty in a rush…

DSC_5559-001

For me, mornings are about getting out of the house quickly. I am someone who would definitely prefer the extra 10 minutes in bed rather than to get up earlier to do my make-up and hair. The products above are some of my saviours.

The Palmolive Naturals Shower Cream is fabulous, it has a beautiful smell and thoroughly cleanses and moisturises, unlike many expensive shower gels I have had. I think showers can be cheap whilst a bath should be luxurious.

Nivea’s in-shower moisturiser is brilliant. It goes on last, after shower gel and then you just massage this all over your body! It’s then washed off,  leaving behind a beautiful coating of almond oil which sinks in really well. It works very much like Aqueous cream but doesn’t have the terrible smell. If you have dry skin, try it, I think you’ll be impressed.

Batiste Dry Shampoo has to be the best invention EVER! I use bottles of the stuff, but if it stops me having to wash and dry my hair in a morning, it’s worth it! That saves me at least an hour! This bottle of talc adds volume to your hair, makes it manageable for up do’s and saves you a day between washes. I no longer wash my hair every day, sometimes not even every two days.

Mark Hill Holiday Hair Beach Babe Sea Salt Wave Spray gives life back to hair! I use this when I  curl my hair, at the end, to make the waves look more natural, but I also use it when my hair is wet/damp to give it some texture. I get out of the shower, spray this all over haphazardly and then blast my hair with the hair-dryer. If I’m using it on my dry hair I just spray it on and mess it up a bit with my hands and it seems to revive it between washes.

Bargain Products

photo (2)I am hugely into products and am always trying out new ones, however these ones I always stick with.  They are bargains but do the job. The Good Things exfoliator I tend to do once a week and I don’t rub it, just smooth it over my face before splashing it off with some water.  It smells amazing. The Garnier Micellar Cleansing water, I believe, is every bit as good as Bioderma sensibio H20 at removing make-up, but both are fab. The Herbal essences intensive mask, leaves hair silky smooth and smells divine. Again I tend to do this once a week. Finally the Garnier body scrub, for your body not your face, this is gentle yet effective. I usually do this in the shower before moisturising and it has really helped to make my skin feel silky smooth. Try at your leisure and let me know your thoughts.

hmprodI love H&M accessories, so good and so reasonable and the crown above has been a huge hit in my house both with Daisy and myself. Here it is in action…
