I am just a little bit in love with white jackets at the moment. They can be dressed up or down and always look so chic and timeless. I’m thinking this is something I need to add to my wardrobe. I am slightly scared at the prospect due to having children, but my love for one outways the fear. Especially when most of my style icons above look so fabulous in their’s. My favourite ones from the high street are below.
P.S; There’s 20% off at & Other Stories with the code SXD20 at the minute so you may want to re-look at this post.
It’s that time of year when the weddings, christenings and special occasions start to pop up on the calender and I often get asked if I have seen any smarter items for the boys. How gorgeous is this suit. Bobby would look super dapper in it and all pieces could be worn as seperates afterwards. The jacket would look just as beautiful with jeans. Below are some more of my favourites.
It was dress down day at school for Daisy and Bobby on Tuesday and Bobby chose his outfit himself. When he came downstairs he had a jacket on very similar to this one that I had totally forgotten about! It was age 4-5 but with the sleeves rolled up still looked totally cool and he said he was too warm in his big coat and didn’t want a rain coat on. This got me thinking about cool coats for now. This one is fab, as is this one, thisis now a fab price in the sale as is this one. Below are some others that I think look fabulous.
How cool is this outfit. I love it and was ready to add it to my basket when I realised it starts at a size 12. These beauties are from the Mango plus size range. After seeing this outfit I then went and looked through their whole collection and there are some real beauties. So, for all you magnificent curvaceous ladies, today’s post is for you…
For me a trench is never really ‘in’ fashion, it is just something that every woman should have in their wardrobe as it is the perfect coat for all weathers. However this year it is big news and was seen all over the catwalks, so there are some beauties about. It fits perfectly with nearly all outfits. Dresses, skirts and jeans and is so easy to dress up or down. I think it looks best with the sleeves rolled up to show a bit of what’s underneath and as much as I love it casual, I also love it cinched in at the waist with a belt for work. If you use the belt it comes with always fasten it in a knot not with the buckle (it just seems to make it look cooler). It is a must buy for this time of year when winter coats are just that bit too warm and we want to inject some Spring into our wardrobe.
Love it or loathe it pink is here to stay. It’s been filtering in through the last couple of seasons and it is most definitely still around for spring/summer 17. The high street is full of it so I have chosen my favourites. My advice would be to treat it as a neutral. Try wearing it from head to toe in different shades of pink or mix with unexpected colours such as yellows and tans.
It feels like January is going on forever and that it is dark most of the day. I have been wearing the same jumpers on repeat and need something fresh to get me out of these rainy days blues. This is where a beautiful new shirt comes in and there are now some gorgeous ones around. Add a cardigan, some jeans with a turn up and your ever classic Stans and you are good to go. The mac is so much more gorgeous in real life (you can roll down the sleeves), I saw it the other day in store and it looks really expensive.
