Nope, this post isn’t sponsored by Mango, but I just absolutely adore everything they are doing right now. Their new season collections just keep giving me more joy every time I look. So many beautiful pieces.
I’m always broody! Honestly I am and it doesn’t help how gorgeous the baby and toddler clothes are these days! Seriously I’m sure they weren’t this cute when my two were tiny. Anyway I love a good snoop around the baby sections and I recently did this in Marks and Spencer’s. Above are some of the items I was loving for the girls and boys.
I think Olivier Baby and Kidshas to be one of the most beautiful on-line shops for baby and childrens clothing. The ladies who run it couldn’t be more lovely and have the most exquisite taste in clothes. Think classic Liberty print, cashmere and children dressed as children should be. What makes me even happier is that they have added extra sizes to their collections and now go up to age 11-12.
Colour seems to be reappearing everywhere, from the yellows of the daffodils to the whites of the snowdrops. I had colour on today for the 1st time in a long time. It must be the spring like feel in the air, but I now want to start injecting some colourful pieces back into my wardrobe. Last week I brought you pink and this week I am bringing you blue. Not the blue I am usually waffling on about (navy and pale blue) but bright beautiful cobalt blue. Mango have some stunning pieces as does Topshop and although you may fear it, it really does seem to brighten up not only your mood, but also your complexion. Honestly, today in my bright blue jumper I received many compliments on how well I look (unheard of in the miserable winter months). So if you fancy giving it a try, below are some of my picks from the high street. For more inspiration check out Pinterest here.
If you don’t already know about Milou and Pilou you are totally missing out! They sell THE most beautiful clothing for girls.
Milou & Pilou is a vintage-flavoured brand for girls born in Barcelona in 2014. Timeless, classic but with a vintage twist, we offer those nostalgic looks that every little girl dreams to wear. Stylish dresses in Liberty Prints, twirling pinafores in soft denim and lovely skirts with that “je ne sais quoi” that we all love. All our children clothes are locally and ethically manufactured in Barcelona.
Last season I bought nearly the whole collection as it was all so gorgeous. The lovely Milou and Pilouhave offered to give Shelley Loves followers 15% off till Friday with the code ‘Press15’.
The new season clothes have started to filter into the shops and I am actually quite happy about this. I am in love with all the new styles and am excited to inject some colour back into the kids wardrobes. These are just a few items that have gotten me in the mood for Spring.
Launched in October, Outside the lines is an award winning girls fashion collection for girls age 3-10. It is definitely one to check out. The clothes are beautiful. Think tutus, stripes, Peter Pan collars and knitwear with pretty details. Daisy has the cat print dress which is just fabulous and a bonus for me is that it is one brand that caters for the older girls.
I have chosen these few outfits but I could easily have picked every item in the collection. Perfect for the party season and beyond, all are at a very good price point. Even better, if you follow them on instagram at the moment they are doing the ‘Twelve Days Of Christmas’ where they are offering daily treats (discounts and special giveaways).
It’s the very little ladies turn today for a beautiful christmas outfit. As for the bigger girls, velvet is everywhere and I love it. So classy and it always looks expensive. Here are a round up of my favourites.
I was on ASOS the other night and was checking out all the cool brands that are on there now. There are so many that it can get scary and overwhelming, so I thought I would share some I was loving. First up is Navy London. This brand is all about lace and monochrome. Think bohemian and romantic but with attitude.
Next up is Reclaimed Vintage. Think boho, with a cool military feel. Fabulous jackets and accessories. It uses vintage fabrics and pre-loved leather to give you super cool clothing. See my favourites below.
Finally Willow and Paige. Gorgeous, gorgeous knitwear made from beautiful yarns, with intricate details. Think frills on jumpers and beautiful colours. So pretty. I have ordered three pieces already! Below are my stand out picks.
