For the love of blue…

boys stripes

  1. Stripe Waffle Top £8

2. Gilet Jacket £39.99

3. Blue Chinos £9

4. Converse

I love this combination. Chinos and a stripe top. Always classy and always good on our boys. Bobby loves a chino, I think they must feel more comfortable than his skinny jeans. I love the bright blue colour of these. I have added some alternatives below.

In the pink…

Image taken from Pinterest

Love it or loathe it pink is here to stay. It’s been filtering in through the last couple of seasons and it is most definitely still around for spring/summer 17. The high street is full of it so I have chosen my favourites. My advice would be to treat it as a neutral. Try wearing it from head to toe in different shades of pink or mix with unexpected colours such as yellows and tans.

Mango is on fire, I love it for everyone at the minute and they just seem to keep getting it right! How cool is this jumper for the boys? It comes in 3 colours ways but this is by far my favourite (although I do love the khaki). Below are what I think it would look fabulous with.

Cable knit chic…

I spotted these images on Pinterest recently and with a cable knit post already  in mind, this decided it. Posh is totally rocking this look. Cable knit inspo was everywhere and it is always effortlessly cool, always in style and you get to keep warm, winner. Below I have carefully chosen some pieces to recreate this look. Here is how I wore mine last week.

P.S; Don’t be scared of the mens department, quite often their knits are a better shape and fit!

I’ve just done a mammoth knit buy for Bobby after having a sort out at the weekend. I love cuddly jumpers on boys, which is a good thing seeing as Bobby hates wearing coats! I end up having to add layers. By far THE best layering piece is his Smalls long sleeve jumper. I dedicated a whole post to them a while back (check it out here). They are so worth the money. Bobby and Daisy both wear theirs day and night every day, honestly, they are that good. Below are some more of my favourites to create this cool, simple look.

1. Cape Back Shirt £120

2. Patched Ribbed Jumper £75

3. Culottes £100

4. Double Faced Coat £220

5. Next Point Mary Jane’s £30-£34

There are lots of beautiful new brands at John Lewis and one that has really caught my eye is Modern Rarity, a premium collection of wardrobe staples with a fresh twist. Focusing on luxury fabrics and expert craftsmanship, each piece is divine and wearable for any occasion. Pieces that you will have for season after season and wear again and again. The above culottes would look amazing with heels for a night out, boots in the winter and Stan Smiths on a lazy day. This jumper (in both colour ways) would look fabulous with them. Perfect for layering, these are clothes to invest in.
