Basket bags are definitely no longer just for the beach. The basket bag is one of the most versatile bags around, depending on what it’s worn with. It adds texture and dimension to an outfit. Pair it with skinny jeans and a heavy fringe and images of the dreamy Jane Birkin come to mind.
Pick the right design and it’ll be wearable long after summer has gone – the key is make sure it’s in a neutral colour palette suitable for winter, and in a larger size to counter-balance the bigger winter clothes.
