Now Bobby is not a big reader, in fact on the whole he doesn’t enjoy the experience at all, much to my dismay, so for him to read a book it has to be something that he is totally interested in. On the whole this is usually non fiction as he loves facts. Here are Bobby’s choices.
Messi (Ultimate Football Heroes)
This is part of a collection of books, Bobby also likes the Ronaldo one, but there is a whole series to collect. This is fab if your boy is into football (or not as Bobby can take or leave footie) and although I’m not a huge football fan anything that encourages Bobby to read is a hit with me. I do like that it shows how these men have fought against adversity to get where they are.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown
Now when Bobby chose this book Daisy informed me this was definitely not just a boys choice as she loves all the Diary of A Wimpy Kid books. This is one of a series of books and Bob’s new favourite. The book is about Greg Heffley who always seems to be in trouble. His school gets shut down due to the snow and fantastic snow adventures ensue.
Genius book. This was one of my favourites when I was little so I was mega impressed when Bobby chose to include this today. It is one of our fave books, the original one being the best but we also own some of the following adventures. This one is also fab as is this one. Stan turns flat when a noticeboard falls on him and then the adventures begin.
Stories For Boys Who Dare To Be Different
Such a good book with so many influential figures. Bobby adores this book and it is often the one you will find him reading. His favourite people are Tank Man, Steven Spielberg, Steve Irwin, Roald Dahl, Barack Obama and John Lennon, but we could go on.
Hope you like the picks Shelley and Bobby x
P.S; Let me know if you would like more of Bobby’s choices.
