Yey, it’s Friday favourites time again and I got a little carried away with the new in section at h&m. So many gorgeous items. They are truly on a roll this year.
My book this week is by an all time favourite of mine Joanne Harris. Mark treated me to The Strawberry Thief as he knows how much I love her books. It’s a follow up to Chocolat (which I read many moons ago), The Lollipop Shoes and Peaches for Monsieur La Cure, all seriously good books. This 4th book isn’t a disappointment, I devoured it in 2 days, it’s every bit as magical and I’m so sad it ended.
Also this week I have read (well listened to it on Audible) The Barefoot Investor For Families. It’s so good and has made me make lots of changes around money with the kids. It’s a very practical, to the point guide on how to help your children learn the value of money, save for something they want and also learn how to give to people less fortunate than themselves. Already the kids are loving doing jobs around the house, bonus. It’s Australian but this doesn’t really make much difference.
