Fushi (meaning ‘eternal life’ in Japanese) is a fabulous company with a magnificent selection of natural skincare, supplements and well being products. I have been switching to natural products within my beauty routine and couldn’t wait to try Fushi as I had heard such great things.
The brand began with the combined Indian cultural heritage of Rannesh Jansari and Ria Pattni. They use the Ayuverdic family recipes handed down by their grandparents, to blend oils and infuse herbs to create pure, ethically sourced health and beauty products. Their ingredients are organic, sustainable, cold-pressed or freshly ground from each season’s harvest.
The entire range is suitable for vegetarians with 85% of the range also suitable for vegans. Their ingredients and many of their products are certified by the Soil Association. Fushi are a brand that are serious about sustainability in every part of their supply chain as well as using eco friendly packaging.
Really Good Hair oil is formulated with a blend of five fabulous oils. It contains Moroccan Argan and Virgin Coconut oils known for their hair strengthening and smoothing properties. These have then been blended with vitamin E rich Avocado oil and Sweet Almond oil to replenish and restore shine and moisture. Added to this are the potent Ayurvedic triple infused herbs Brahmi and Neem. Brahmi is rich in antioxidants and helps with hair growth and hair discolouration, it also nourishes the hair roots and promotes healthier growth while Neem promotes a healthier scalp and is extremely beneficial for thinning hair. Fragranced with Indian Jasmine essential oil (which I love the smell of), Really Good Hair oil is a brilliant combination of oils to ensure hair is beautifully conditioned, healthier and stronger.
Now when I saw my hairdresser last week she couldn’t get over my hair and just kept telling me how fabulous and healthy it looked. She was blown away by it and how much it had grown since my last hair cut (which was about 6 weeks previously). I have been on holiday and we have had lots of sunshine, but I do credit this oil, as well as my change to a more plant based diet, for how amazing it is looking and feeling. You can massage the oil into your scalp and leave it overnight, I haven’t does this. I massaged it into my scalp, wrapped my hair in a steaming towel (I had to google how to make a steaming towel the 1st time) and then I have chilled (read that as occupied the kids) for about an hour. I then have washed it out with my shampoo (see this post for my natural paraben free favourite) and it feels amazing. So smooth, soft and manageable.
Neem is well known for its hair and skin benefits. From hair growth to dandruff, Neem oil is nature’s cure for scalp and hair problems. An important part of traditional Indian medicine, Neem has been used to treat various skin and scalp conditions.
If it’s growth your after, Brahmi is good for strengthening the hair follicles, it provides proper nutrients to them thus invigorating hair growth. It’s also beneficial for dandruff, itchiness, formation of split ends and flakes.
Definitely a keeper. I’m so happy with the swaps I have been making to my makeup and beauty items.
