Baby gift buying for me seems to be like buses, none for ages and then loads all at once. I like to think of something different to buy, something that can be treasured and this book is definitely something to be cherished and passed down through the generations. It is a collection of 30 classic nursery rhymes, illustrated with the most stunning embroidered art. ‘Little Miss Muffet’, ‘I’m a Little Teapot’ and ‘The Muffin Man’, to name but a few, are included and it made me very nostalgic reading through it. Daisy was oohing and aahing.
Science tell us that babies develop best when they are spoken, read and sung too, so this is the perfect little book to introduce little ones to the magical world of words, pictures and song.
