There are plenty of ways to approach maternity wear (whether that means buying an entirely new wardrobe or cobbling together maternity outfits from what you already own).
I would say buy nothing for as long as possible, and wear what you have until the last possible minute, then buy things slowly. Your body changes so much each month, so buy one or two pairs of trousers/jeans that fit for a bit, then go up a size as needed.
For me pregnancy jeans and leggings are the best piece of clothing to add to your wardrobe, a must have.
I also think that fitted dresses are amazing when pregnant and the only time I felt really comfortable in them.
Another fab tip, buy pregnancy bands to put over the top of your trousers and belly and then you can wear any shirt and fasten up only the top buttons so the bottom of the shirt isn’t stretching over your tummy.
