Dove Nourishing oil care treatment conditioner £1.99
An intensive conditioner is so good for keeping your hair off your face in the heat but also saves your hair from becoming dried out. This one is so cheap but very effective at making hair feel fabulous in the sun. Apply in the morning and rinse off in the evening.
Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter Exotic Coconut £5.50
This is a perfect after sun, not just because it’s cheap but also as it’s effective and smells magnificent. Hawaiian Tropics definitely sums up a holiday for me, divine coconuttyness!
Vaseline Derma Beauty Spray compressed Anti-Perspirant Deodorant £1.85
Since having the kids I am very fussy about deodorants. Not only do they have to work when it’s boiling hot, but I want them to smell good and not leave horrible white marks on my clothes. This does all of the above, it really is a brilliant deodorant. It comes in a small package so is perfect for travelling.
Kate Moss for Rimmel Red Lipstick £5.49
A red lipstick is a must! It really is. It will take you into a holiday evening look without having to do a full face of make-up in the baking heat.
Nivea Body In Shower Moisturiser £5.25
I’ve wrote about this product before and have had lots of feedback from readers saying how good it is. It really is a must have product. Slather it on after your shower gel, rinse it off and you’re good to go. It’s not sticky in the heat but leaves a lovely smell and keeps skin moisturised.
Loreal Hair Expertise Eversleek Smoothing Anti-Frizz Serum £4
Its hard to find a cheap defrizzer that works but this one is fabulous, it smooths out the frizz without making hair greasy or looking lank. You will only need one squirt on damp fine hair and I use about three on my thick hair.
Nivea Kids Pocket Size Sunblock SPF 50 £5.50
I always keep this in my bag, a must have if you’re out and about, even for us adults. Our whole family use this.
Daniel Galvin Kids Top to Toe 3 in 1 Wash £3.99
I can’t speak highly enough about this! It works for the whole family. It has a lovely summery smell and is very kind to the skin. It de-tangled my little girls mane and got rid of all the days dirt, including sun tan lotion and sand! Its a shampoo, conditioner and body wash, great for travelling.
Ultrasun SPF 30 Family Ultra Sensitive Sun Cream £19
This is a brilliant sun tan lotion. Lots of children come out in rashes with other brands but I believe this truly works. It is good for all the family and gentle enough to be used on your face.
La Roche-Posay Soothing Repairing Balm £6.50
For anything that could go wrong with skin on holiday this is perfect. A small tube to take anywhere for sunburn, insect bites and cuts. A little bit of this will works its magic.
Gillette Venus Proskin Sensitive Razor
Best razors ever! I know that sounds ridiculous but they really are the best. I take these on any little trips I go on as you can practically use them dry!
